Hi there! My name is Alejandra Rodríguez, Founder of Alejandra Rodríguez Intl., and creator of the Study Smart Test and Language Coaching programs. I am so happy you stopped by! Keep on reading so I can tell you a bit more about who I am.

I am a Test Prep Specialist and Language Coach, with almost a decade of experience helping people learn languages and passing specific tests. I help students who have the dream to get somewhere (whether it is a new place, a university, entrance to a specific program, you name it), and have to do a test to achieve their goals. I also help people who truly desire to learn or improve a foreign language (specifically English and/or Spanish) and are ready to put in the work to master one of those languages.

I am an advocate for doing things the smart way. What do I mean by that? I mean, doing less and achieve more. Now, don’t get me wrong, by no means am I saying that you shouldn’t work hard! I am saying that it is better to work hard on the things that actually matter. The things that are actually going to take you where you want to be. That is why strategy is one of the most important things around the Study Smart programs I have created (Click here to learn more about them). I believe good learning and study strategies get us way further than we initially think. Further and faster. But of course, you have to put in the work and time to internalize those strategies and use them to your advantage. If you truly want to achieve something, or learn something, you have to be the one doing it! No one can do it for you.

Now, let me tell you, I have been there. I have learned a second language. I have passed many tests to get into a program and university that I truly desired. When I was in high school, all I wanted was to move out of my little town in the Canary Islands (which is where I’m from) and go to university. I wanted to do Business Admin, so it was compulsory for me to have a decent score, because this degree was very competitive back then. And I did. Then I switched degrees (I moved onto languages, English Philology). And to be honest, my university didn’t need me to have a high score on my entrance exam for this degree. But they did require me to be fluent in English beforehand. Just so you know, my native language is Spanish. And you know what? I did it again. I learned English and I was very comfortable with all of my subjects being taught in English, and I was very comfortable speaking it. What was the thing that helped me achieve those two goals? It was not traveling or living in an English speaking country, or being smart out of this world. It was strategy and hard work.
I CAN’T WAIT to meet you and helping you through your language learning journey and/or test prep goals to achieve your dreams!
